Interview.

How would you describe yourself?

I am very hard working, competitive and motivated, not only in golf. A kind, sociable person and a great friend.  I am also very determined and resilient.

What age did you start playing golf and why?

11, I was a very keen sportsman in general playing county cricket and hockey and my Dad took me to play one day, I really enjoyed it and my love for it grew.

How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years?

I have gained much clubhead speed due to growth but also hard work in the gym. My practice is much more specific and purposeful. I also have a much better mental game as when I first played in national competitions at u14 level, my head let me down, but due to psychology coaching, my mental game has improved tremendously

Who is your favourite golfer and why?

My favourite golfer is Rory Mcilroy. Mostly because of his incredible talent but also his work ethic as a youngster when you watch past videos of him and also Rory’s attitude as a person off the course is one to aspire to.

Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why?

I really enjoy playing field hockey for my school due to my competitive nature and general love for sport. Outside of sport, I enjoy spending time with my friends from school and my girlfriend. Although it is slightly linked to golf I love going to the gym as it is obviously beneficial physically but also mentally.
