Interview.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a very bubbly and outgoing individual. I am very independent and more of a leader than a follower. I enjoy being around people who motivate me and make me happy.
What age did you start playing golf and why?
I started playing golf at age 9 and started playing competitive golf at age 13. I got into the game by my dad, he took me up to the local range for a lesson and I have been very connected with the game ever since.
How would you say you have developed as a golfer over the past few years?
After getting a new coach, who is my current coach, my handicap has dropped from 27 to 2.3 over the last 4 years. My confidence as a player has improved by having a positive behaviour to the game and to the changes my coach has made to my swing over the past few years.
Who is your favourite golfer and why?
My favourite golfer is Charley Hull because she is very committed to the game and inspires me.
What do you intend to study and why?
I hope to study sport psychology as it interests me to learn more about how people think and what goes on in the mental side of the game.
Other than golf what else do you enjoy doing and why?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, we enjoy eating out and being active. I enjoy this because it makes me appreciate the little things in life.
What do you intend to study and why?
Business Studies. This is because I am unsure what I would like to do when I am older and business will give me a lot of opportunities in all different jobs. I am also really enjoying my A level business study as I also enjoyed studying business at GCSE, business is something that I am very interested in and would like to continue studying in the future to expand my knowledge further.
